Wolverhampton’s new signing Piotr Pawlicki has said that racing in the Elite League will help him improve.
The 19-year-old joined the Midlands team over the winter and will make his league debut at home to close rivals Birmingham on March 24. The Younger of the Pawlicki brothers already has Elite League experience having rode for Coventry and Poole earlier in his career.
Pawlicki admits that racing with the World Champion Tai Woffinden was a factor in his move, but also the opportunity to improve by racing in British Speedway too good to turn down.
“I am glad that I can go back to the English track. Compete in this league, it’s a great speedway school.” Said Pawlicki to nicesport.pl. He added: “When riding in the Elite League for sure I will become a better rider. More so that I have the opportunity to race alongside Tai Woffinden, the current champion of the world. It means a lot to me.”
