Aces Sign Zetterstrom

Belle Vue have announced that experienced Swede Magnus Zetterstrom has agreed a deal to ride for Aces this year.

The 41-year-old completes the Manchester side who will be looking for a vastly improved season after finishing bottom of the league in 2012.

Zetterstom had been in negotiations with the club since the start of February and needed time to arrange the logistics of racing with Belle Vue.

After agreeing a deal, he said on the clubs website: “It has been a few years now since I raced in England but I have always been interested in coming back one day. I had some good success when I was with Poole and hope I can help Belle Vue to move up."

Belle Vue are the last team to complete their side ready for the 2013 Elite League season, Zetterstrom joins: Matej Zagar, Artur Mroczka, Craig Cook, Kevin Wolbert, Kauko Nieminen and Ales Dryml.
