Sullivan Excited To Return

ryansullivan 685Former Peterborough rider Ryan Sullivan declared himself 'pumped' at being asked to ride in the clubs opening night.

Not only will Sullivan ride in the meeting on the 19th March at the East of England Showground, he will lead the challenging team, 'Sullivan's Seven' when they take on the 2012 Panthers team.

The former Grand Prix racer will be joined by two World Champions, current holder Greg Hancock and multiple winner Nicki Pedersen who spent part of last year with the Panthers but left towards the end of the season.

Sullivan is hopeful he will be able to score points on a track he loves but with his vast knowledge of the Showground, he knows that riders can go from last to first in the space of a lap.

"The club got in touch recently and I was pretty pumped up after being asked to ride in their opening night.” Sullivan told peterboroughtoday.co.uk

He added: “It will be great to catch up with the Peterborough fans again. You never know what will happen in a meeting like this but hopefully I can still score a few points."

“Not only was I pretty dominant at the Showground, I also loved riding the place. It is not the sort of track where you can just rely on making a good start to win races. You can easily go from last to first in a race."
