Wolverhampton team manager Peter Adams admits that the return of Wolves favorite Freddie Lindgren was never in doubt.
The Swedish Grand Prix star will line up for a tenth season at Monmore Green this season having signed a deal earlier in the month when he flew to the UK.
Lindgren has established himself as one of the Elite League's leading scorers
during his time with the midlands club, for the start of the upcoming season he holds an effective average of 9.21.
Team manager Adams believes that his returning number one can up his average to double figures and continue his dominating force around Monmore Green this year.
Adams told the clubs website: “Freddie can achieve a 10-point average in the Elite League with his eyes closed, he is that good."
"With a points limit there are always going to be restrictions when it comes to team building but there was never any doubt about us signing Freddie."
