Eastbourne moved ahead of Belle Vue at the top of the Elite League table with a convincing 42 point victory over Birmingham at Arlington on Saturday night.
The Eagles were in fine form against the league newcomers and pulled out a 12 point lead after just three heats with each home rider scoring either a win or a paid win during their first outing. A spell of four maximum heats heats during the middle part of the meeting ensured the home win for the Eagles and three points to add to their Elite League total.
Lukas Dryml took maximum points from his four rides while Joonas Kylmakorpi and Lewis Bridger both scored paid maximum in the large victory.
