Eastbourne started their 2011 season with a confidence booting win over local rivals and last season table toppers Poole at Arlington.
New number one Bjarne Pedersen's first meeting for his new team ended with him scoring a paid 13 points from five rides while the team will be please with the return of Lewis Bridger at reserve, the Elite League winner only dropped one point from his four rides.
