Bridger Open To Eagles Return

Elite League winner, Lewis Bridger has said he is open to a return to his parent club Eastbourne after spending a season away from Arlington. The former British U21 champion started the 2010 season with Peterborough but a string of poor performances forced the Panthers into a team change with Bridger and Schlein swapping places. While he is still owned by Eastbourne, Bridger's success at Coventry has put him in demand from a host of clubs.

He told The Argus: “People are talking about it, but I’ve got to sit down and work out what I’ve got to do. Obviously I was having a shocking time of it at the beginning of the season and I’m not quite sure why that was. I obviously wasn’t comfortable with something.

“We will have to sit down with (Eagles owner) Bob Dugard and work something out. I’m willing to listen and try to be persuaded. I’m not going to say I’m definitely back at Coventry. But I’ve had a good year there and they have looked after me.”
